San Francisco – November 3, 2026 –

Resilience, the leading cyber risk solutions company, today announced two promotions that connect its underwriting strategy, operations and broker distribution in North America. Chris Pitcher has been named Head of North America Underwriting Strategy and Operations, and Alex Carleton has been promoted to US Distribution Leader.

“By aligning North American distribution, underwriting strategy, and operations under Chris’ leadership, we are giving brokers a clearer view of our appetite and a quicker path to coverage that fits their clients’ risk,” said George Kotsiopoulos, president of insurance at Resilience. “Chris has spent his career on both sides of that broker and underwriter relationship, shaping underwriting strategy and building broker partnerships.”

Pitcher joined Resilience in 2025 and most recently served as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Underwriting Performance where he led enterprise initiatives spanning underwriting playbooks, workflow automation, and capacity and product projects. He previously spent a decade at Arch Insurance, where he held underwriting roles in its US professional liability business before becoming Assistant Vice President and Head of Cyber for Arch Insurance Canada, building and growing its  presence across program and open brokerage channels. In 2024, Insurance Business Canada named him one of its Rising Stars.

In his new role, Pitcher will continue to shape and execute Resilience’s underwriting strategy. He now takes on strategic oversight of distribution and operations across the United States and Canada, where he will build the broker-facing processes, performance framework, and relationship cadence for the region. He will continue working across Resilience’s product, operations, and underwriting teams, and will report to Kotsiopoulos.

Carleton joined Resilience in 2022 as Western Regional Manager. He has more than a decade of experience in commercial insurance across underwriting and brokerage. Before Resilience, he was an underwriting consultant at CNA and a master underwriter at Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions. Earlier, he spent nearly four years underwriting mid-market technology and life science accounts at The Hartford, and he began his insurance career at Costello & Sons Insurance Brokers.

As US Distribution Leader, Carleton will lead Resilience’s relationships with retail and wholesale broker partners across the United States. He will focus on deepening existing partnerships, broadening Resilience’s broker relationships, maintaining Resilience’s national presence in the market and ensure broker feedback on market conditions, client needs, and placement experience reaches Resilience’s underwriting and product teams.

About Resilience

Resilience helps organizations become cyber resilient to material losses by staying ahead of bad actors. Founded by experts from across the highest tiers of the US military and intelligence communities – and built by prominent leaders and innovators from the cybersecurity, technology, and insurance industries – Resilience is the world’s first cyber risk company that offers risk quantification software, cybersecurity experts, and highly rated insurance in solutions purpose-built for large and middle-market organizations.

Resilience’s Risk Operations Center (ROC) is an AI-powered monitoring service that actively hunts for zero-day vulnerabilities and scans a policyholder’s external-facing infrastructure for known vulnerabilities, exposed high-risk remote services, insecure remote access points, and dark web exposure. The ROC cuts through the noise of traditional security alerts, providing actionable remediation advice to stop threats before they become incidents, and losses.  Each year, the ROC screens out roughly 95% of known vulnerabilities as low risk, escalating only the small number that pose a real, exploitable threat, and clients have historically remediated 77% of those escalations.
